James Ford Bell Technical CenterGolden Valley, Minnesota

The James Ford Bell Technical Center located in Golden Valley, Minnesota is General Mills’ primary research and development facility and comprises over half of a million square feet of space. The original facility was built in 1958, with multiple additions constructed over the years.

RSI performs reviews of the facility on a biannual basis. There are various different roof systems present on the building complex. On roof areas where replacement is required we provide design and quality assurance observation services for new built-up roof assemblies. In addition, RSI works with Architects to provide consulting and details on the new construction of additions to the existing building.
